When you purchase a vehicle out of state, most if not all states have what's called an in-transit permit, or similarly called. This permit permits you ample time to return the vehicle to FL with ownership papers for your title & registering process along with proof of valid insurance coverage. This info could vary, but if your going through a dealer they should be able to specifically answer your questions for you.
Also, when you trade in a car in Florida, do you get to keep the same license plate or do you need to get a new one?
