Village Joyce makes a good point.
Please make sure your dog has a harness when he is in your golf cart, not a collar, and that he is fastened in with a short leash.
One abrupt stop with a collar and he could strangle.
If he suddenly feels like chasing a squirrel across a busy road, the harness will secure him.
Some people buy a stroller for their small dog so they can take him to the Town Square with no danger of getting stepped on.
There are a few pet-friendly patios where you can take your dog.
