I have mixed feelings on the on line companies who deliver flowers. Many times they come all bent up and totally buds. It takes a week for them to open and they are so crooked to display in a vase. A few times they have wilted so badly on the porch when left by Fed-ex that they had to be replaced. My roses never did open and finally the heads dropped. My experiences have been bad to the point I have asked my son to use the Villages Florist instead of using the on line companies as there is mostly always an issue. The flowers delivered by the Villages Florist have always been beautiful. I have had luck obtaining a refund for him from the on line companies so no issue there. It just kind of spoils the moment to have to deal with a bad delivery.
