Great news! The long awaited opening of Darryl's Diner in the Pinellas Plaza is a reality. I've eaten breakfast and lunch there this week and both were very good - including the splurge of homemade Red Velvet cake. Big slice for $3.00. It is so refreshing to have something different and economically priced to choose from. Their hours are 6am till 3pm daily and you can get breakfast or lunch during these hours. I ran into the owner, Darryl, there and he was very cordial. As I understand it, he is a big fan of rescue and an animal lover. There was a bowl of water outside for the doggies...
