I see where you're going, but in this case, that didn't happen.
In Florida on CR 101, I was planning to pay cash for the crown, no insurance. I don't mean to imply that the Dentist was dishonest. I think she felt she was offering the best option. I think she was offering a Cadillac solution when a Honda would have been fine.
In Canada I have a private plan that covers crowns with no questions. If the Dentist had not been honest, he could easily have recommended a crown over a filling.
P.S. I have used a dentist in Fruitland Park that I didn't like at all.
I've also used Serenity Spa near Spanish Springs and liked them a lot.
