Something like 85% of all amateur golfers miss to the right. Even for golfers that hook the ball, it would take some effort to hit it 100 to the left on a 130 yard shot. Not only would the golfer have to miss but 100 yards, they would also have to over club by a huge amount.
Doing the math very quickly, if you're house is indeed 100 yards from the green and is a right angle to the line from the tee to the green, your house sits approximately 165 yards from the tee.
If they would normally hit a nine iron to cover the 130 yards, they would need a five or six iron to reach your house. The fact that you found a ball in your yard means that someone's calculations were way off. Unless, of course, they perhaps skulled their second shot from the side of the green opposite your house or, like you say, it hit the street and took quite a bounce.
Yes, it is very unusual for you to find a golf ball in your yard.
