There are few ways this light could be turned on.
1. An extra contact on the burner control switch, which would me a new switch, after you were able to figure out which switch is bad.
2. A current sensor that feeds into the range control system, probably out of luck, as you may or may not be able to get this part, and installation will not be straight forward.
3. there might be a relay (operates when a burner is turned on) that could be stuck.

You could try searching Google or youtube for additional help. In any case this is not typically a Do It Yourself, unless you are really handy have some experience and all of the proper tools. Also, stoves are typically 240 vac connections and high power. Best to leave to the professionals.

Personally I would suggest one of the appliance repair services, I have used Beck's and was very pleased.
