I hear what you are saying, but I am not sure that that applies to the devout Freedom Caucus members. I wouldn't bet on anything. My feeling is that the Freedom Caucus wants people to believe they are bigger, and stronger than they are. That is the impression that I got from the moderate Republican.

"Politicians will ie, cheat, steal, coerce, et al to win a voting block." This statement is right on. The moderate Republican gave the impression that 134 (153-19) Republicans don't vote the conscience, but vote to keep their seats. With Gerrymandering so prevalent across the country, they have to worry about people in their own party taking their seat. A lot of the times they voted to repeal ACA was done to let people know that are against ACA. It was almost like confirming the obvious, but 54 times is a little overboard to get your point across. The lying may apply more to the 134 Republicans than to the Freedom Caucus.
