Lamar Odom has the funds, the means, and the positive support, yet still fights a losing battle with it. How difficult it must be for so many others. I've seen it in many Soldiers, as well as others. Instead of damning them to hell, please offer prayers and/or encouragement that they may find a way to want to help themselves. Most humans don't want to be miserable or judged as worthless. Very difficult for someone like him with all his money and celebrity to reach the bottom necessary to surrender. In best of cases, only about 30% of those attending AA ever stay sober. Also very difficult for the average person to understand the power of this physical, mental and spiritual disease. Unless you get real help,p and deal with all the aspects, not the phoney expensive celeb rehabs, it will be impossible to arrest the disease that is never cured. Look at what recently happened to Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manzel who still does not realize that it is the first drink that gets you drunk.
