Who?

Worrying about a rich ex-superstar who lived the stupid life just doesn't play with me....while I prefer not to keep my head in the sand there are to many other more important issues than this...

Hedley Lamarr

I think it is very sad that he has lost so much to his addictions ... his career, his marriage, and now he is fighting for his life. Sad.

:agree:

I think it is sad that some athletes who have risen to great heights and made so much money, get lost in drugs and ruin their lives, or even die.

Even more tragic, is Len Bias who had just signed a hugh contract with the Boston Celtics many years ago and then OD on drugs partying. So much to live for and was lost before he even got started. Sometimes, too much money leads people, to a destructive lifestyle.

I understand he is on life support.

My question is, did he start on cocaine or begin with "harmless" weed that seems so prevalent in society today? A shame this has happened to him but people know what drugs can do.

2BNTV "Yes I read that story both beauty and brains whether you spell it Hedi Lamar or Heady Lamarr:D. Thank you for not pointing out my misspelling. Apparently your right "it doesn't cost anything to be nice"

I think it is a very sad situation. I hope it gets a lot more news coverage so that the younger generation can see what drugs and risky life choices can do to you. This man had everything going for him but has lost it all....probably his life.

It's not all about what is affecting YOU directly. You may have people in your life that you are not even aware of who need to learn from this mans mistakes.
