Pedestrians are not always right but they are always pedestrians and that gives them an edge.
Backing is always the primary basis for a traffic violation and hence why it is termed unsafe backing if an accident occurs.
Those of us with some years here have witnessed the peace of the summer months quickly disappear. ( I am thankful for those few years)
This place is described as big but it is compressed and main roads are limited and all those limited roads lead to Rome and when we are all traveling to Rome well......
The demographic here makes it obvious that traffic/accident issues both on highways and multi-modal paths will be a certainty. I have seen some people driving carts that looked so fragile I wondered how they even were able to hang on to the steering wheel
Most who lived north all recount fondly the experience of a wonderful spring, summer and fall but as the leaves dropped they braced for the dreaded winter months and snow.
Well it is the same thing here except instead of snow we have a blizzard of people returning and the lazy hazy days are over. I am not complaining and I am not stating it is good or bad thing . I am simply stating an observation about a reality and if I am anything it is a realist.
And as the southern extension pass 466A continues so too will the blizzard and all the good and horribles that accompany it.
I opine others can decide
