How many Republicans have been voted out of office by one of their own? How far right do you have to go to get the Republican nomination for president? So far right that Romney couldn't beat a president that has done more damage to this country than a terrorist organization. Somehow you don't see the problem with that.
Somehow the whole lot of you here don't think the Republicans have had anything to do with the current state of politics in this country. You really are living in a world of your own.

Dear Guest: Let me state right out of the chute that Congress as a whole is held in low esteem a view I also hold for various reasons.
Secondly some Republicans or at least label themselves as such hold views not in keeping with sensible Republicans and hence they are voted out.
As to Romney he lost because not enough white voters voted that was a grave mistake and we paid for it with 4 more years of Obama the Terrible.
In my humble view Mitt Romney was a good candidate but the GOP Esablishment pre-selects their choice and did not give him the support he needed. The GOP Establishment once again has pre-selected again for their own self interests and have leveled a vicious attack against Donald Trump.
I have not made my choice yet but I believe if GOP continues to devour its own the female version of Obama the Terrible will be the only winner
Finally progressives complain calling Republicans the party of no etc etc etc
However how does any sensible politician vote for the "Custer's Last Stand" policies being pushed by this uninformed, unimaginative and unpatriotic leader whose actions affect the entire Western Hemisphere and the world at large?
Personal Best Regards:
