Ever since the original poster exposed mean spirited meanies my consciousness has been raised.

I’ve come across news regarding Stephen Glass. You may remember him as a left-wing Democrat who posed for a number of years as a writer of articles for a left wing publication in New York. His articles were mostly glorifying Democrat talking points by writing heartwarming stories of people being uplifted. However, it turned out that two thirds of his articles were entirely fictitious and most of the people he used as examples did not exist. It was quite a scandal but we were assured by various left-wing publications that this had never happened before and would never happen again. So I knew that Stephen Glass was a lying left-winger and therefore a good Democrat. Imagine my surprise to find that he’s also a mean-spirited meanie.

Stephen is now admitting additional past fabrications for other publications. He’s doing this to rehabilitate himself so that he can obtain a law license in California. He was previously turned down by a court that described him having “a vicious, mean spirit”. There you have it. Officially, a mean-spirited meanie.

While I am not surprised that a left-wing Democrat can be mean-spirited, I am astounded that the People’s Republic of California frowns on lawyers lying. Has anybody told this to Jerry Brown?
