But in fairness, you have had a 2 year relationship with this establishment, and I assume no problems. I very much doubt the Pet Spa owners made a trip to "Ticks-R-Us" and bought a bushel full to infest the dogs in their care. Most likely they hitchhiked in on some other dog, maybe one that did not have an owner as caring as you. Could this have been spotted? Maybe, who knows. It does sound like an isolated incident on the face of it. I might also check with your Vet and ask why your dogs tick meds were ineffective in protecting them from this infestation.
