A community of 110,000 people and 60,000 golf carts has two fatalities per year. This is news?
How many people were killed in car accidents in communities of this size in that eight year period? How many motorcycle fatalities were there in The Villages in that same time? How many bicyclist were killed?
But keep an eye out of mandatory seat belts and higher insurance rates in our future.
