I just reported my experience
over a period of time at a particular place. I played tennis for years and racquetball for decades without being injured, but that has nothing to do with what I saw at the named medical facility in The Villages. In the same vein, your experience has no bearing on
what I saw.
You might also note that the original warning was for new arrivals who would presumably not be familiar with the sport and would not be playing at the Intermediate Level.
There
are less risky games than Pickleball for older people to play.
