Hfortunately, we do not have a liberal-free community. We liberals are, most of whom are wise enough and old enough to cherish our conservative friends. Liberals do embrace the right of people to celebrate their religion, on their personal property, just not on government property. Yes, we are anti -death penalty, as are most civilized nations of the world. Yes, we are pro-abortion as we believe women shouldn't be forced to raise a child that is unwanted and unloved, especially raised in poverty. More importantly, we do not believe is a child. It is a fertilized egg that is not viable outside of the womb. We believe everyone is entitled to a fair and just trial. We believe that everyone has a right to live peacefully and lawfully in the United States without fear of being tormented for race, religion, political beliefs, etc.

Is this bill being presented a bad bill? Not really. It is a waste of time since, as has been stated, there are already laws banning hate speech and actions. Personally, I'd rather some teeth be put into these laws. You want to spew venom? Feel free to do so in the confines of your home. Don't defile a synagogue or a mosque. Don't call someone a derogatory name because of the color of their skin or their choice of clothing.

So, dear conservatives, don't be too quick to put us liberals down. We have as much right to our views as you do yours. Many of us have thought long and hard before coming to our conclusions. Without us, this world would be a much uglier place.
