First and foremost it is because he is incapable of leding, communicating and negotiating with congress. (His negotiating score card is atrocious....i.e. Iran nuclear deal).

As a trained lawyer he is very well tuned to perfecting doing whatever the letter of the law allows....which means using the law, abusing the law of just hiding behind the law.

Hence any action he takes even those where he is definitely on the thin ice of breaking the law allows him to claim an accomplishment. Keep in mind that to Obama on some subjects, just talking about an issue constitutes him addressing it.

Some past presidents earned the title "teflon" because it seemed no matter what they did nothing ever stuck to them. NOT OBAMA! Nothing ticks to him as he will always play it safe and do nothing.....even as our enemies openly defy America by killing it's citizens.

Back to gun controt shootings. There is not one single action he is proposing that would have eliminated any of the past mass shootings. And will not stop any future mass shootings. He has merely taken those controversial steps that allow him to put another "accomplishment" in his resume'....as measured by the Obama rules for measuring such.

As for his tearful performance yesterday....extremely dis-ingenuine....phony....part of the script.....for the lemmings and media and the uninformed.

Just compare what he is proposing against the most strict gun laws in the country in effect in Chicago and Washington, DC. Just look at the track record of gun violence in those two cities......the absolute worst.

So Obama's executive orders allow him to claim he has done something to show taking action against gun violence......words, words, words only.

Those actions will have the same effect our current immigration laws have on illegal immigration.

Pure and simple no matter what the man does, it is all about him.

He has proven over these past 7 years America and it's people are not his priorities. Quite the opposite.

His legacy? He will make Jimmy Carter look like an aggressive president.
