My original thought reading through this form was what tomwed said. However, Shimpy pointed out a deal-breaker for me. I had not known the Rialto lacked stadium seating (we've bought a house in TV but not yet moved there). I won't pay to see a movie at a theater with the old style of seating. Heck, I only go to the theaters to see visual blockbusters anymore as my home theater has developed into something pretty decent over the years. It takes something that must be seen on a BIG screen to get me into a theater and I don't want to have to peek between people's heads to see it.

At some point, the owners of the Rialto should consider remodeling. Every older theater around where I live now has remodeled to have stadium seating, added digital projectors, added 3D, added surround sound that is often THX certified and generally done what it takes to get people out of their home theaters and out into "real" theaters. Someday Rialto might have to as well.
