The Sumter One gang also claims to be an independent group. The nature of our form of government combined with the reality that the Villlages of Lake Sumter, Inc (VLSI) ( Developer) holds the only votes in my mind's eye has the appearance of a conflict of interests. How can you have independence when you have no vote? The VLSI are the biggest fish in this pond we call Sumter County and hence the ruling monarchy . One can only hope it is truly a benevolent monarchy but even as such while monarch's suggest they are really interpreted as commands
