Sometimes the truth hurts. Is it racist to tell the truth? From what I see in that statement, he was talking about others. He did not say that it was his thoughts, but you will hear what you wish to hear. There are those that consider that selective hearing.
In certain positions, you are expected certain protocols. In this case, Obama wishes to ignore those protocols. If this was a black thug criminal that had been shot by a white cop, he would be working a photo op out of attending and giving another divisive speech.
To show class and unity, he would attend the funeral. He wishes to show petulance and divisiveness instead. That is his choice. He has once again proven to be the classless divider in chief that we always expect. As far as I am concerned it would not surprise me if he changed his wardrobe to a black leather jacket and black Beret. He has never attempted to unify this country. He has always done his best to divide it. I guess the joke is on his supporters.
