Default Surprise at Steak 'n Shake
One of our favorite casual restaurants is Steak 'n Shake. We were surprised to find a new menu item----French onion soup. Seriously, the best French onion soup "ever" for only $2.95 a cup! Of course, the soup along with a salad, baked beans, steakburger and a chocolate malt filled my "tummy" to over flowing. It was a struggle to make it back to the car.

Bottom line----if you like French onion soup you have to go and maybe just the soup, steakburger and water with lemon will be enough for you.
