Default A Lake Deaton Flood

If Lake Deaton would flood, Morse road north of 44 is actually a dike that channels flood waters through a network of ducts, canals and wetlands to an area south of 44. This system follows the design of an outfall ditch as illustrated by Southwest Florida Water Management District. -> https://www.swfwmd.state.fl.us/proje...rt_sep2006.pdf

Now you know the purpose for the waterway just north and behind the new shopping complex east of Rohan Rec center.
