People even offer a trigger holster that just covers the trigger; doesn't "increase" the effective size of the pistol for pocket carry.

I wouldn't buy a gun with a manual safety. The average time from the time of an attack until a concealed carry owner fires his gun is about two and a half seconds. Having to disengage a safety could mean the difference between life and death. (Yours, not the attacker's)
