He had to know Czerner would run thirty seconds after being released, which means no more crimes in this area by him. So, no court costs for the County for convicting this creep nor public defender costs. Also, no housing in jail and/or prison (at least $32,000 a year) costs. In return, the County got $5,000. Unfortunately he is off to commit crimes elsewhere. Wouldn't be surprised to find out he skipped from somewhere else before coming here. Should have kept the bond value at $77000 then we could put this scumbag away. I know naysayers will say that we don't have enough room in our prisons for all these felons, but as we have seen, releasing alien felons that keep coming back to commit crimes and murder doesn't work either. Our police departments are understaffed for many reasons, a couple being lousy pay and recent racial tensions. Not good formulas for a law abiding society.
