Well yes, that part is perfect. The Villages is doing that for us. They have to, it's in the contract. But what about the "double" moving expenses. Here's the real kicker...they are telling us they will only pay for 30% of the move of our items coming out of storage. Really? I don't think so! We didn't ask that they be put in storage. Why should we pay for 70% of the second move? Many of the items we had planned to move on our own w/o boxing them. It is now our responsibility to obtain/purchase more boxes, bubble wrap, tape, etc., not to mention our time doing it all while here on "vacation". The mover we have already contracted with does not provide storage space. Therefore, we must run around looking at rental spaces for our entire household. We also have cars which they are putting in storage for us.
Per the request, we are obtaining estimates, etc to present to TV management. We are not asking for the moon, but we aren't about to pay more to move than previously planned. I simply put this inquiry out here to ascertain info from others that may have had the same problem.
