Extremely Liberal . Never have seen them endorse a Republican for office .

As you know the BN is owned by Warren Buffet and has been for well over 25 years .

Odd thing . One of my best friends is now the " Publisher " which is equivalent to President and Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer. He himself is a very conservative Republican but he stays far away from the Editorial and Journalism aspects and focuses on the business issues of running the paper .

IE --- the editorial side operates on it`s own and is controlled by the paper`s staff of editors not the CEO . Otherwise the reporters would walk out .


There are something like 6 different Unions operating at the Buffalo News and that alone takes a great amount of managerial effort .
