What is a new home?
I suppose every house is a new home to the purchaser. However, it does seem to be a bit of a stretch to call the houses being sold by the Villages in Lake Sumter new. Most of the houses were built in 2008 or 2009 and are called “This new 3 BED 2 BATH Keys Villa”. Go to the Villages sales site and search new homes in Lake Sumter.
A rental could be called new when it’s sold by the builder or original owner? As everyone does their due diligence when making a house purchase here, I suppose the purchaser will understand how the house was used in the past eight or more years. I would change the new to slightly used.
Are the Villages now using other houses in other areas to replace the need for these houses? Just curious.
