I have a HIM medicare preferred and I pay zero premium. I do know there is a deduction from my social check, however, it is small amount for great coverage. Before 65 I was paying over $600 per month for not so good coverage, praying that nothing would happen to me. They could raise my premium and I could not afford the increase.
It's great that some, mostly gov workers, have good coverage, but not everyone has.
