Perhaps, you need to use public transportation rather then buy a car. If a car is necessary, you may need to purchase a cheap car. You may need to find a place where rent is lower. Perhaps you could live and exchange lawn services for part of the rent. You may find you cannot afford cable TV, air conditioning etc etc.
I've always paid my bills. I never thought someone else should pay my bills.
