If they're TRUE Muslim...they're NOT your friends, they are fooling you. If they ARE your "friends", then they're NOT Muslim...they're Muslim in name only. Like a lot of Christians too. The Quran CLEARLY states that they are not to associate with "goy" for lack of a better Muslim specific word.
You were probably fighting a political war. Those you fought had no gripe with you. They, like you, were fooled into fighting for their riches and power. I don't know of any "just" wars off the top of my head.
Even the Revolutionary War was over money. The Colonists wanted to keep their profits and not share them. The Civil War was over states rights. The Unions illegal baiting the south, the war to stop them from lawfully seceding. WW's, politics and money. Korea, lies. Vietnam, French agricultural interests.
The "great" side effects of a good war? Lower unemployment as the young men die. Debts are cancelled and new debts created. Power is redistributed.
