Any death is tragic, especially to friends and families. For many people, including my dad who met Arnold Palmer at a tournament years ago and always told the story with pride. But I think we know, perhaps more than any other group that at his age it's not shocking.

I'm not a baseball fan but I learned a little about Jose Fernandez. He also sounds like someone who made his parents very proud. That a young man dying in a car accident is shocking.

I wouldn't read into who goes first or who is more important. It's more news worthy if you never see it coming.
