Point is that both Republicans and Democrats have some on the fringes.

On a social level, do you honestly care which political party your friends belong to? My social groups don't discuss politics heavily and we all get along great.

I have friends who are veterans. Some are Democrats, some are Republicans. I am a Democrat and a veteran.

What is your point?
