Well, we met in a psychiatric hospital and were immediately crazy for each other! (pause for effect)

Actually I was a student nurse and he was a medical student. We were on rounds of new patients. He noticed me because I was so beautiful (or maybe it was the hot coffee I spilled all over him.) I spilled coffee all over him because he was so sexy (or maybe it was because one of the new patients was a guy I had been dating.) Whatever.

But it was complicated. I had just joined the army and he had just gotten a deferment. No problem says I. Give up your deferment and join the army with me. You really are crazy says he.

But he did give up his deferment, for me! Now 40 years and 4 kids later we're still having fun -- and still crazy for each other.
