You're actually correct.
Had Trump simply thought it out (and not had Giuliani spout off about him being asked to try and hide it from what it is...a Muslim ban
)...he could have crafted an executive order that would have had a chance.
Especially if it included major Muslim countries...where he had business interests.
What really hurt it, was the way Chump made everyone jump through hoops and start enforcing it...before any reasonable notice or thought was given.
