WooHooo 4th of July!!!!
Well if the rain Gods didn't dampen things just a bit, I'd be smitten'. Down to SS at 4:30. Toojays, 4:30, 5:00. then the sky opened up and a deluge of wet, pouring soaking 4 inch per hour mass dumped upon us. Hub and I ran in KB's. and were much obliged with their dry and grateful warmth. After an hour, the rain stopped, we gathered our soaked belongings and headed home.....Unpacking the golf cart, I could hear SS go wild!! We went back.......A few phone calls, and everyone was scrambling, getting cars, meeting here and there. Rocky and his Rollers were ravished and ate all the goodies I made. Thanks to gladware! Thank you rain Gods, they were saying!!! Well, I danced and had a blast. Headed home.... Called some TOTV peeps and they were headed to Truman. Hub, hungry and tired said....GO!!! So, I went....to Truman...found it, when I saw about 50 peeps?? tailgating and I pulled in and there were all my TOTV friends, and then some......Thanks for a memorable (handie, nice to have finally met you, you, you....never mind!!) great time!!!! This is a great place to call home!! Thanks!!!!!!
