The musical part of the film I thought, was Ryan Gossaling piano playing, and I've read he did all his own playing and I was impressed. He's been a favorite actor of mine and he really expanded his abilities with this film. Emma Stone was alright, I had seen them together in Crazy, Stupid Love with Steve Carell and they have good chemistry, so I overlooked her lack of musical ability. Overall I would of cut the opening freeway dance, but anyway gave it a 9, very impressed with the film.
I liked the freeway dance even if the main characters were just in the traffic queue. Maybe, they danced too in the distance but could not spot them. I will take a better look once the Blu-Ray comes out.
