First be aware, we are not talking about some handwritten note filed in a manilla folder.
We are, as I understand, talking about a memo of understanding typed, printed and date stamped by third party and then filed away and secured. The day he was fired, within minutes all his files were under lock and key.
This has been his practice for many years, his career, and all know about it....see the 2004 case at Ashcrofts bedside.
These are not memos put into a little book simply for his own gratification. He has been known as someone who will always do that and then file it.........it is supposed by many that they are date stamped when he has them typed and then secured.
ALSO be aware that Comey
did not challenge Trump.....
Trump is the one who challenged Comey on all the meetings, and mentioned the possibility of tapes....Comey has not challenged him at all.
He has only been firm that he wants to testify but ONLY IN PUBLIC.
In any case, we will hear him testify as I understand next week.
