Your wife and her teacher friends are overpaid baby sitters. They no longer educate - that has been delegated to the parent thru "home links". The teachers do all the fun stuff with the kids (raise baby chick's, coloring, watch movies, play games, etc.) and the parent get to spend the evening after work teaching the kids thru the "home links".

The teachers unions in those 30 states opted their members out of social security. The union thought they could do better with investing that money for their members, if that don't work out- go whine to the union!

My kid's kindergarten teacher made $58,000 a year (public school!), and that was back in 1997...

If your wife is still teaching, tell her to get a job in the LRC. She will get the same pay per hour plus she can double dip by picking up a couple hours of "substitute teaching" a day, while she is on the LRC clock...

Yeah I really feel sorry for those poor world traveling teachers...only 180 days a year to try to brainwash and assemble a liberal army!
