At first I thought I made a mistake, now I love it. I've always been into rock music since the Beatles. I had 4,000 albums when I moved to Florida. I got hooked on live concert DVD's, it's just like going to a show without all the hassles and costs, I had 300 concerts but now I don't buy them anymore. On Youtube there are thousands of concerts and videos for free. I have a youtube page and select favorites and put them in various chapters and then on my smart TV I can watch them all, most in surround sound.

I'm not much of a news junkie, I watch mostly sports or movies. I'm an O's and Ravens fan, born in Baltimore but grew up in St. Pete. Tampa Bay Bucs would be secondary team, especially with Jameis Winston, I've been a Seminole fan since the 60's. My wife is a true crime junkie, she's watching ID Channel, Reelz, OWN, Bravo, any channel that shows Dateline, 48 Hours and 20/20 reruns, they seem to be on all day. We were both Courtv junkies until they took that off, that was a good channel. My neighbor/golfing partner is a Red Sox/Pats fan so I get to hear about them a lot.
I would like even larger than 96" but you do need a big room. Have to settle for 50" down here though (for now). Projectors are a good bang for the buck too. $700-$800 (on sale) will get you a big clear picture (not a 4K picture though). If you have white/ light beige colored walls you can get a screen later. My screen at home is made of furring strips, plywood and white bathroom paneling and cost about $75.00.

I agree, concerts are great on a big screen. I've got quite a few of them on blu-ray.

As far as sports is concerned, what upsets me is that these guys are earning millions and rather than being humble and thankful, some of them take a knee for our national anthem. That really p*sses me off.
