Today, I read in the public safety section of the Daily Sun about the airboat crash on Lake Panasoffkee Tuesday. In talking with my brother who once operated a similar type of airboat in Tanzania, the larger ones don’t go as fast as the smaller ones.

14 people were injured with 2 having critical and 3 serious injuries. I would not have thought that a large airboat accident could have caused those types of injuries. I pray that those involved have a successful and complete recovery from their injuries.

Because of my brother’s connection to airboats, I am interested in hearing more details about this accident. I would add that let’s all be safe out there whether playing pickleball or going for a ride in any type of vehicle.
