I am not happy with Canon Direct sales. I called today to inquire about my last Friday order of the Canon camera. They are telling me I will not receive it.
It seems that Canon’s ordering system doesn’t reflect the current inventory status when orders are placed. All orders are accepted even if they can’t be fulfilled. They will transmit information to the consumer when an item is shipped but will not inform customers when items are out of stock. In their system, if an item is out of stock the customer’s order is cancelled without any notice being sent to the consumer. I am glad I call!
In my opinion it’s a very poor system and makes me want to avoid any future dealings with them. I will spend my money elsewhere.
