I've always been puzzled by the name Koyame. Although it is Japanese, the food is mostly Chinese with a bit if Thai tossed in. I believe that the owners and all of the employees are Chinese as well.
They have the best Chinese food in The Villages. Some of their Thai dishes are OK but stay away from the Pad Thai.
Incidentally, Koyame translates to The Cabin. Still have trouble understanding a Chinese restaurant with a Japanese name.
