Is it just me, or is anyone else impressed with the speed of the development down there? And they are already starting homes in De Soto!

The building is what runs the “economic engine” of Florida and what keeps the taxes low and the primary reason for NO state income tax. That said, retirees have been coming to The Villages from high tax states and this will increase with the limits on state tax deductions just passed by Congress and signed into law. States with no State Incomes Taxes will benefit and the expansion with continue into the unforeseen future. We will likely continue to be impressed with the speed of development.
