Often the switches on the receiver don’t make contact right away so you have to play around with them switching them on and off until proper contact is made. For instance one speaker might be louder than the other due to poor contact which can eventually be rectified by repeatably turning the speaker switch. I did do some research and tried to clean it myself but it didn’t do much good. They don’t make receivers like this beast any longer so it would be great if I could get this thing working like new again. I do have modern Yamaha WiFi receivers but the Sansui will always be my favorite.
