One of our villagers grandson was killed by an Islamic terrorist five years at the Boston Marathon and his little sister had her leg blown off.

I, for one, never thought this thread was about any extremists of any ilk...EVER.
I am not sure, especially after all the violent behavior (NY subway push on tracks, school shootings, Waffle House shooting, etc) which never approached any terrorist activity, certainly the word Muslim does not deserve mention AT ALL.
The NY situation had political overtones, but it is extremely unfair to even mention it. Every "bad actor" especially acting alone can say what they want of their motivations.
As I said earlier, we have been cyber attacked.....we get fed a string of lies on Facebook, etc daily simply to rouse emotions. THAT should be of concern.
To jump to the same conclusion about every chaotic situation or killing and defame a religion each time is unfair. As a poster said earlier.....wait, read and get educated before jumping online and implying a terrible accusation about any human being.
Rest assured, the minute a Muslim does anything, it will be everywhere on line and used as an example.
Does anyone know the religion of any of these last few instances or care ?
Nobody should defend any terrorist acts, any killings, beatings or such acts that are simply based on hate of skin color, religion or absolutely anything. Doesnot matter to me what religion these people are.
"White supremacists and other far-right groups committed the majority of extremist-related murders in the United States last year, according to a new report by the Anti-Defamation League."
White supremacists committed most extremist killings in 2017, ADL says
White American men are a bigger domestic terrorist threat than Muslim foreigners - Vox
I bring these things up only because MUSLIMS seem to be the only group you fear
Again, as I said, when these horrible things happen MY first thought is how life changing it is for people who were simply going about a daily routine. Life never the same. To answer your question in post 1, that is my first thought
