Terrorism in the sense that the victims, onlookers and even we newshounds were shocked and terrorized? Yes. Terrorism in the sense it was in the name of a cause or religion? Probably not according to what I’ve read.
To have your first thought be that an act of violence is an act of terrorism that is Muslim based is, to me, very sad. I would hope that the first thoughts would go to the victims and their families. To do a post on a public forum that hints or suggests it was an act of political or religious terrorism of ANY sort without any facts is, to me, just plain wrong and frequently just continues fermenting baseless hatred and fear.
