Coldnomore: Thanks for the article you attached to your note. Ir reiterates what I said to them on the phone yesterday. They tried a real alleged "double talk" explanation for the double billing. It was a poor excuse and allegedly the reason to give if customers who complain. She finally said she would split the bill July and August and asked that I eMail her the eMail I received from ADT alerting me that I would be billed double on July 27th. When I spoke to them I was told I would be billed a month on July 24th and then their note said 2 payments on the 27th. I am not sure if that meant I was going to be billed 3 times. Your note with the explanation shook my tree to start looking for alternatives in case this goes belly up or the rates are increased!! Since I am direct billed, it is possible I guess to process the charge and make me fight it if necessary.
