Almost cost him everything he had. He lost control on a curve and hit another golf cart which threw the other person out with minor injuries and when they investigated they checked his governor and charged him with speeding in an unregistered vehicle and his insurance would not cover the accident. He never told me what it cost him but he did say that he had many sleepless nights...thank goodness the other person was not seriously injured. Just an FYI.

This is the first time I have ever heard of the an inspection by an insurance company after a golf cart accident/claim. WOW ... scary! What state, city, retirement community did this occur?
