Re: POW'S AGAINST McCAIN!
Biden is not a good guy. As a ranking member of the Church Committee in 1975 he gleefully led the charge to emasculate our intelligence community. He disassembled a productive network of covert operations, pitted agencies against each other, discouraged the interagency exchange of information and created insurmountable obstacles to the gathering of solid, lifesaving , national security intelligence. (Shades of the current liberal agenda here, history repeating?) You may or may not remember that he precluded us from developing informants with nefarious backgrounds. That's where the best information often came from. I guess he preferred we hit the cocktail circuit with elite internationals who I am sure he believed would give up national secrets for world peace. Many of my friends.... patriots who worked in the trenches to protect this country from those who would do us harm... left government in frustration.
A compelling case can be made that through Biden's liberal assault on the FBI, CIA and a variety of law enforcement and intelligence agencies, he disrupted the system for decades and many, I for one, believe it was his mindless liberalism that opened the door for the tragic events of September 11, 2001. I came out of my chair when I saw him on TV criticizing the lack of intelligence on 9/11. Having lived in that arena, I draw my conclusions on my personal knowledge and understand that others may not share my harsh criticism and dislike for Biden. Sorry for the rant. Not really.
I didn't mean this to be personal testimonial, but I get exercised everytime I am reminded, in my opinion, of what Biden did to this country.
John McCain knows the value of national security intelligence and the consequences of inhibiting it. I remember my mother, a Boston democrat, working on JFK's campaign and my father, a Barry Goldwater republican cancelling each others votes out on election day year after year. The point being I have had great exposure to both sides and have voted both ways based on the candidates.
:cop: :cop: :cop: Oops, is that the topic police crashing through the door?
